Abstract Guidelines

ABSTRACTS

The Electronic Publication of the Argentine Paleontological Association publishes abstracts of Scientific Symposiums, Conferences, Meetings and Congresses in the thematic areas of their interest.

The request for publication of abstracts should be sent to peapa@apaleontologica.org.ar with at least three months prior to the event, in order to coordinate the submission process, times of production, publication, etc.

GUIDELINES

CONCISE TITLE, TIMES NEW ROMAN 12-POINT FONT, LEFT-ALIGNED, UPPERCASE, BOLD, WITHOUT A FINAL PERIOD

The abstract should not exceed 300 words (longer abstracts will not be considered). It must be written in Times New Roman 12-font, fully justified, and presented as a single paragraph. It should be concise and informative, using simple and clear language. It must not include figures, tables, abbreviations, acknowledgments, or bibliographic citations. The research must be novel and must not have been previously published. The abstract must briefly state its objectives, results, and main conclusions, and provide information on the studied fossil specimens (e.g., geographic and stratigraphic provenance and repository). It is not necessary to cite author and year for the mentioned taxa. Numerical and/or temporal ranges must use an em dash (–), and words that are not in Spanish must be written in italics. Do not include postal address.
